Golden Petals: the definition
While working on my degree I spent several years putting together a collection of poetry that’s very dear to my heart. These poems were carefully crafted and chosen to make up the book Golden Petals. Because this book hits so close to home, I wanted to make sure to showcase a body of work that others like myself could relate to.
Now that it’s finally finished, I am happy to report that I am now working on my second collection “Starving Lion” to be released July 2024.

POETRY
Golden Petals, released 4/2/24 is the debut collection of work surrounding child abuse, growing up with trauma, and survival. Based on the lives of Jeanette and her older brother, this work defines courage, and what it takes to overcome trauma growing up and never truly healing.
SHORT STORIES
The Good Girl - coming September 2024, is a ten chapter novella based on a woman who’s not happy with the life she’s built for herself. But, when her husband turns up dead and someone starts stalking her, she puts her feelings aside and goes on the hunt to find out who’s really behind his death.
NOVELS
HIPPO - winter 2024 is a 300 page novel based on a woman who’s childhood catches up to her after she’s drugged and raped in college. Everything she thought she knew about herself and her family turns out to be a lie.
